Wayback Revive does not share or reuse restored website data under any circumstances. Even though the source material comes from publicly accessible archives like Archive.org, the version we restore and deliver to you is treated as entirely private.

How your restored data is handled

The restored files are packaged and sent exclusively to you. No other client or party receives a copy of your restored site.
Where applicable, internal working copies of your files are deleted after the project is delivered. Your data does not persist in our systems beyond what is needed to complete and close the project.
Wayback Revive does not publish, post, or display restored content anywhere. Your site is not used as a portfolio example, case study, or demonstration without explicit permission.

Why this policy exists

Even when source data is technically public, the restored version represents your intellectual property and business asset. Treating it as private protects:
  • Your privacy — no unauthorized parties gain access to your site’s content or structure
  • Client confidentiality — your project details are never disclosed to other clients
  • Ethical service delivery — data collected for one purpose is not repurposed without consent
For questions about data retention or deletion after project completion, contact support directly.
