Wayback Revive is a US-based website restoration service. When your website goes down — due to a lost backup, expired domain, or hosting failure — we extract archived snapshots from the Wayback Machine (Archive.org) and rebuild your site into a fully functional, hostable website.

What we do

We restore websites that are no longer accessible by extracting archived data and reconstructing pages, images, and assets. You receive a rebuilt website delivered to your domain or hosting environment — no original files, credentials, or developer access required.

Extract snapshots

We pull the most complete archived versions of your pages from Archive.org.

Reconstruct assets

Pages, images, stylesheets, and scripts are rebuilt from archived data.

Deliver a working site

You receive a clean, hostable website with all Archive.org references removed.

Who this service is for

Wayback Revive is designed for website owners who no longer have access to their original site files or backups.

Hosting loss or failure

Your site went offline because of a lapsed hosting plan, server failure, or account termination.

Expired or deleted domain

Your domain expired and the original site files were lost or never backed up.

Agencies and freelancers

You need to recover a client’s archived website for handoff or migration.

No backups available

You no longer have access to any copy of your website’s files or content.

Who this service is NOT for

Some sites cannot be restored through archival data alone. Wayback Revive is not the right fit if your site falls into one of the categories below.
If your site was never publicly crawled, was blocked from archiving, or relies entirely on a live database or private API, restoration is not possible from archived data.
  • Never-archived sites — websites that were never crawled by Archive.org have no snapshots to restore from.
  • Database-driven web apps — sites that depend on live databases, user-generated data, or private APIs cannot be reconstructed from static snapshots.
  • Custom backend logic — dynamic applications requiring server-side business logic are outside the current scope of restoration.
Custom restoration and development work is available on request. Contact our support team to discuss your specific situation.
